Research Manitoba recently announced 1.2M in funding for New Investigators. Five of these grants have been awarded to CHRIM members for a variety of projects. This funding is designed to support early-career researchers by providing up to two years of operating funding. The program helps new faculty establish independent research programs, build collaborative networks, and generate the results needed to compete for larger, national-level grants.
