The Children’s Hospital Research Institute of Manitoba, in collaboration with the Children’s Hospital Foundation of Manitoba, has a number of funding opportunities for researchers and students involved in child health research-related studies.

MBLL Special Call Grant Letter of Intent
Deadlines are as follows:
- Travel Grants — must be submitted by the 1st business day of the month prior to the month of departure. Results to be announced approx. 3 weeks later.
- MBLL Special Call Grant — Letter of intent must be submitted by May 29, 2026. Full application form will be sent to successful applicants by the end of June. Full application will be due September 29, 2026.
Please note, any application that is submitted late, incomplete, or otherwise not meeting the requirements listed in the guide will NOT be processed or reviewed.
The Institute stresses the importance of having all applicants review the appropriate requirements PRIOR to applying.
