Why No Ouch: Factors Influencing Caregiver Choice of Analgesia for Children
Principal Investigator: Dr. Scott Sawyer
This study is a partner to another study called No Ouch. In the No Ouch study, parents of children who have taken their child to the emergency department with a broken bone can choose whether or not they may receive an opioid pain medication. In Why No Ouch, we call families to get a better understand of why they made their choice. Ultimately, this will help healthcare providers give children painkillers that are effective and acceptable to families.
