2025 Research Manitoba awards

Congratulations to all award recipients from the 2025 Research Manitoba Grants & Awards Competition! CHRIM is proud to partner on many of these awards to support trainees and further child health knowledge creation in Manitoba. It is exciting to see that many of this year’s recipients are working alongside CHRIM researchers, which is a testament to the incredible mentorship happening here at CHRIM.

Master’s Studentship Competition

The Master’s Studentship Awards support highly qualified Master’s students to prepare for careers as independent researchers in industry, within the healthcare system, and in other environments, thus attracting and retaining the best students within Manitoba. In partnership with Research Manitoba, we were thrilled to fund three students in this category. CHRIM is also pleased to fully fund one student in this category, Karinne Muniz.

PhD in Health Research Studentship Competition

PhD Health Research Studentships support highly qualified doctoral trainees. These exceptional trainees significantly increase the productivity of the research programs with which they are affiliated. In partnership with Research Manitoba as well as Health Sciences Centre Foundation, we were thrilled to fund five students in this category.

Saeid Maghsoudi
