2025 Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada awards

The Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada (NSERC) funds visionaries, explorers and innovators who are searching for the scientific and technical breakthroughs that will benefit our country. This is Canada’s largest supporter of discovery and innovation. Recently, NSERC announced a $660 million investment in discovery research and CHRIM is proud that our researchers have received over $545,700 of that amount.

The following researchers received funding for their projects:

Dr. Samantha Pauls: Effects of fatty acids on gene expression and function in the immune system ($38,000, 5 years)

Congratulations to all recipients, including many co-applicants on additional projects not listed. The complete list of funding decisions can be found here.
