Research Focus
My research focuses on improving perinatal mental health and substance use outcomes by developing and evaluating equity-centred, family-focused models of care. I study digital and integrated interventions, such as eHealth programs for parenting and mental health, to reduce access barriers for postpartum parents, particularly those with at-risk substance use. Through randomized controlled trials and implementation research, my work shows that these approaches can reduce depression, anxiety, and parenting stress while enhancing engagement among underserved populations.
