Research Focus

Dr. Protudjer's research focuses is on the environmental risk factors for, and societal consequences of allergic diseases, which she investigates using mixed methods.

Research Interests

Through the use of mixed methods we are able to:
-Better understand how families manage food allergy and what resources they lack
-​Design and evaluate programs on food allergy

Research with a focus on the environmental risk factors for and societal consequences of food allergy
-Understanding predictors of anaphylaxis and pre-hospital treatment
-Current and emerging therapies and access to care

Helping to improve the quality of our healthcare system by:​
​-Talking directly to families​​
-Working with national food allergy organizations to provide knowledge that guides policy development
