Research Focus

Karimi's research program focuses on uncovering disease mechanisms of spinal cord injury and Multiple Sclerosis, and developing pharmacological and stem cell-based therapies to promote tissue repair in these conditions. We utilize pre-clinical and transgenic models in parallel with human samples.
