Research Focus
The Jones lab's research focuses on environmental exposures in the prenatal and early childhood periods, and seeks to establish when and how these become biologically embedded. Our long-term goal is to use cutting edge epigenetic tools in combination with well-developed birth cohorts and controlled exposures to investigate the mechanism and timing of biological embedding of specific environmental exposures on long-term health.
