Jewel Paskaruk is a 3rd year undergraduate student majoring in Health Sciences at the University of Manitoba. This talk will feature Jewel’s research project in Dr. Vern Dolinsky’s lab as part of the ‘HEAL 4650: Research Project in Interdisciplinary Health’ course, outlining the role of SIRT3 in the development of gestational diabetes.
