DESCRIPTION:Rehabilitation Centre for Children at Specialized Services for Children and Youth invite you to join us for Breakfast at SSCY\, our monthly learning series! \nTopic\nInclusive Dance Design: Where Recreation meets Rehabilitation \nThis session will explore the role of inclusive dance as a multimodal activity that can address both recreational and rehabilitation goals for individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities. We will review current evidence and perspectives supporting the therapeutic benefits of inclusive dance; as well as share co-designed strategies for creating inclusive dance opportunities in community and clinical settings.
