CHRIM Research Rounds
Please Join us for an upcoming Research Rounds Presented by Dr. Brad Doble.
Dr. Brad Doble is an Associate Professor in the Departments of Pediatrics and Child Health & Biochemistry and Medical Genetics, Rady Faculty of Health Sciences, University of Manitoba. He holds the Bihler Chair in Stem Cell Research. He recently relocated from the Stem Cell and Cancer Research Institute at McMaster University, where he held a Tier II Canada Research Chair in Stem Cell Signaling. Dr. Doble’s lab has a strong interest in the developmental signaling networks that regulate stem cell pluripotency, self-renewal and differentiation. In particular, Dr. Doble’s lab’s research has focused on Wnt-mediated signaling, which regulates numerous processes required for normal development and organogenesis, stem cell function, and adult tissue homeostasis. His lab is also interested in those disease processes in which Wnt signaling plays a role, which includes developmental disorders, cancer, neurodegenerative diseases, obesity, and type 2 diabetes.
